Taste of Nations hosted by the City of Brooks takes place Saturday, September 23rd, 11am - 2pm at JBS Canada Centre Field House. Municipal Planning Commission - The City of Brooks is looking for a citizen at large to sit on the Municipal Planning Commission beginning September 22. The Municipal Planning Commission considers applications for development permits within the City of Brooks and makes decisions after giving due regard to the purpose, intent, scope and resolution outlined in the Land Use Bylaw adopted by Council. They also review and advise Council on other matters such as subdivision applications and statutory plans. Arts, Culture and Heritage Board is looking for a citizen at large and a youth citizen at large. The Arts, Culture and Heritage Board acts as an advisory committee to assist Council in providing opportunities in arts, culture and heritage programs and facilities within the City.
