January 2019 - Issue 1 - Larkspur will motivate and move you with the stories of the people behind the businesses in our city. The stories of what motivates them to do their work. Their stories will spur you on to do your best work. (and we want to hear about that also ;-). Our stories cultivate an environment that draws out the best in all of us. As we are spurred on by each other it will create change as we all struggle and grow together to reach a common goal. Becoming our best.

After 4 years and over 60 Feature Stories, the mission remains the same, to spur each other on! That is a lot of stories but there are so many more. Who would you like to be featured? Possible new landfill 14 kilometers north of the town of Bassano. The new landfill would not be approved to accept residential/municipal wastes, liquids or hazardous materials. The primary waste would be waste generated in the oil and gas industry as a result of drilling, regular operations and decommissioning activities.

1. A mass mailout sent by direct mail to the owners of all residential properties.

2. Website with a direct link to the online survey.

3. Newell Connect and Newell Notify apps with access to the online survey.

4. County’s social media, newspaper, radio, and online digital campaign.

New dog park, between Harwood Ford and the TransCanada Hiway. Council has agreed on a parcel of land now they need a plan and design. So they are recruiting members for a Dog Park Task Force, “a group of passionate and action oriented people that will work collaboratively to make a design that will work”. Want to be involved?
